What is the first rule of web design?
Clarity. A visitor should understand what you do, who it is for, and what to do next within seconds. That means simple messaging, clean hierarchy, readable type, and a layout that guides attention. If the design is beautiful but unclear, it fails. If the copy is strong but the page is chaotic, it fails. Start with a single goal per page, then build the visual system around that goal: headline, proof, benefits, and a clear CTA.
